Day 1 - 3
South Luangwa Your exclusive safari begins with one of Africa's finest wilderness areas, The South Luangwa National Park. With over 60 species of animals, 400 species of birds and world renowned for its leopard sightings, the Luangwa is a fantastic safari destination.
On arrival at Lusaka airport you will be met by a representative from Voyagers and assisted with your onward connection to Mfuwe. At Mfuwe a lodge staff member will be there to greet you and drive you to your luxury lodge where you will spend 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis. Enjoy the option of daily walks, day and night game drives in open safari vehicles with qualified, knowledgeable safari guides.
Day 4 - 6
Lower Zambezi
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mfuwe airport for your flight to the Lower Zambezi. On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by a lodge representative for your transfer to the safari camp. The park is extremely picturesque with the enormous Zambezi River creating dramatic scenery. Fantastic land and water-based game viewing opportunities abound. This area is particularly famous for its elephants.
The guides are extremely knowledgeable and all safaris are tailor-made to guests' requirements. The 3 nights are on a fully inclusive basis and you will enjoy day and night game drives in open game-viewing vehicles, walks, canoe trips, river cruises and angling.
Day 7
Livingstone (Victoria Falls)
You will be transferred from your lodge to the airstrip within the Lower Zambezi National Park for your flight to Livingstone via Lusaka. The flight in itself is fantastic, taking you over the park and enormous river - a real "Out of Africa" experience.
Two nights in Livingstone could not be a more fitting finale to this superb safari. Livingstone is home to the Victoria Falls, the spectacular world heritage site and one of The Seven Wonders of the Natural World. The scenery is breathtaking. Dr. Livingstone, the famous explorer described them as 'a sight so beautiful that they "must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight".
On arrival at Livingstone airport you will be met by a representative from your luxury Lodge who will transfer you in time for a leisurely lunch.
In the afternoon you will have a trip to the historic town of Livingstone for a tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. It is a breathtaking sight and will leave you absolutely spell bound. On return to the lodge you can enjoy a cruise on the Zambezi River to experience the stunning sunsets over the water.
Day 8
After breakfast you will be able to take a morning game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park before returning to your lodge for lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure or take the opportunity to do some fishing or canoe on the beautiful river.
Day 9
After breakfast the lodge will transfer you to Livingstone airport for your onward connecting flight.
